Score Against Hunger Game

Saturday, september 16 - 11 a.m. kickoff

After more than a quarter of a century of the campaign, we are still reminded that hunger knows no season. That’s why every year, one Mizzou football game is dedicated to helping the effort to feed Missourians — the Score Against Hunger Game.

About Score Against Hunger

The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri is proud to be the Official Charitable Partner of Mizzou Athletics.

Since 1995, The Food Bank has partnered with the Missouri Tigers to run the Score Against Hunger campaign.

Every year, Mizzou Football leads the charge to feed Missourians by encouraging people to learn more and donate to The Food Bank to help their neighbors in need.

Canned Good

Take the fundraiser to the tailgate

In June of 2023, Broadway Brewery launched Canned Good, a new American light lager that's making a difference across Missouri. 22% of profits from this year-round style will go toward The Food Bank’s food security efforts. We couldn't be more grateful to Broadway Brewery for this innovative collaboration that benefits our neighbors. See where Canned Good is sold.

A call to solve food insecurity, together.

We are Missouri. We are a state that takes action. Whether it be on the field or in our communities, the University of Missouri and the Show Me State work together to get things done.

For more than two decades, Missourians have shown their commitment to sharing food and bringing hope to neighbors in need by supporting the Missouri Tigers Score Against Hunger campaign. Since its inception in 1995, Score Against Hunger has become The Food Bank’s largest annual fundraising effort, serving 100,000 people monthly across our 32-county service area.

But the need is ongoing.

More than a million people in Missouri face hunger on a regular basis. Over half of school children qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. More than 5,000 Veterans in our service area live at or below poverty. Senior citizens represent one of the fastest-growing population facing food insecurity. These are our neighbors, our children’s classmates, those who served our country, and older Americans who find themselves on a limited income with little left over to buy food.

By making a gift to the Score Against Hunger campaign, you are joining the Tigers to provide food to Missouri’s most vulnerable citizens.

Join the Missouri Tigers and together, let’s Score Against Hunger!
