Sharing food. Bringing hope.

Share The Harvest

In 1992, bow hunters in Missouri began a program to share the deer they harvested with those less fortunate. Soon after, a statewide system was developed and managed by the Conservation Department and the Conservation Federation of Missouri.

Share The Harvest provides an easy way for hunters to donate venison, a low fat source of protein, to feed hungry families.

Annually Bass Pro Sportsman's Center and the Conservation Department sponsor a "deer drop" location at Bass Pro Shop in Columbia, 3100 Bass Pro Dr, on the opening and second weekend of hunting season. There is no processing fee if you donate your deer at Bass Pro Shop in Columbia. Bass Pro will weigh your donation and take your photo for display.
